Jim Arnest, born and raised in Sedalia Missouri. Studied engineering at the University of Missouri (Columbia). Moved to San Francisco in 1970.
I worked in the building trades and obtained a Structural Pest Control License in 1973. I studied software engineering in 1982. I worked for a firm that moved to Texas in 1990. I did not want to leave my family in San Francisco so I started Arnest Inspections in 1991. I have 2 boys and 7 grandchildren.
I have designed my own database and report generator program. My reports are designed to be easy to understand and helpful particularly for first time buyers. I include pictures in both the Wood Destroying Organisms report and the Property Inspection report.
Thomas is a native San Franciscan, educated at Archbishop Riordan High School and San Francisco State. Thomas has over 20 years experience in all facets of construction. Working as a union carpenter or as a structural pest control professional, his vast knowledge of bay area homes will help you determine the overall condition of your home.
